Our Story
A Sacred Space Where Healing Happens
Soham Retreat is a healing-focused yoga and wellness center nestled in Yoga Village, Rishikesh — by the holy Ganges, in the foothills of the Himalayas. We are a sanctuary rooted in the deepest yogic and healing traditions, created for those who seek genuine transformation in a place of peace, beauty, and ancient wisdom.
Our founding mission was simple and clear: to create a sacred space where healing happens. Not healing as a performance or a retreat trend, but as a living experience — one that touches the emotional, mental, and spiritual layers of the self. We believe that the transformation of emotional and mental states opens the gateway to higher levels of consciousness, and that the right environment makes all the difference.
Every detail of Soham — from the light-filled yoga hall to the sattvic meals prepared with care — is tended with the intention that you arrive as you are and leave closer to who you truly are. The mountains witness. The river cleanses. The practice deepens.

WHY RISHIKESH
The World's Yoga Capital - Your Transformation Amplified
Rishikesh is not simply a place — it is a living field of transformation. Nestled where the Ganges emerges from the Himalayan foothills, this ancient town has been the global heartland of yoga for centuries, drawing seekers, sages, and teachers from every tradition. The air carries the resonance of thousands of years of practice. The river holds the prayers of countless pilgrims. To practice here is to be held by something far older than any individual teacher or lineage.
Soham Retreat's home in Jonk Village places you steps from the holy Ganges, where the natural environment itself becomes a co-facilitator of healing. The sound of the river, the presence of the mountains, the clean mountain air — these are not incidental details. They amplify every asana, every meditation, every moment of stillness that happens within the retreat. In Rishikesh, the land supports the inner journey in ways that no city studio can replicate.
